A major improvement over Windows' built-in uninstaller, free IObit Uninstaller not only removes programs, one by one or in batches, but also finds and deletes leftover folders and files. It identifies large and infrequently used programs, Windows updates, and other items for removal and ranks them by date installed, version, and other headings. The user interface toggles between the detailed List and streamlined Icon views. IObit Uninstaller Version 4 adds support for Windows 8 Metro Apps and targets malicious plug-ins.
