Get ready for the Lollipop magic, Google Nexus 6 ‘coming soon’ to India

The flagship phone from Google, the Nexus 6 has been listed in Indian on the online retail store Flipkart. The phone has been listed with a ‘coming soon’ tag and no indication on the price of the phone.

The model that has been listed is the 32 GB model with black colour. This Motorola-made flagship could cost between INR 44,000 to INR 50,000 in India, according toNDTV Gadgets. The handset could come for sale on or before December 10th this year, according to this report.

During the launch of the handset Motorola in a release said “Nexus 6 will come to 28 countries, including India, starting later this year and as we head into Q1”. Based on this we were expecting the handset in January 2015. But it seems Google does not want to wait for the launch of the handset and would want to take benefit of the year end Christmas and New Year sale season.

Also note that Google has launched all the Motorola  handsets (Moto E, Moto G and Moto X) and Motorola Android Wear smartwatch via Flipkart store this year.

This 6-incher with 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor comes powered with the Android Lollipop operating system. The handset sports 3 GB RAM and has 13 megapixel rear camera with dual led ring and 2 megapixel camera. Read - 13-year-old Indian-origin entrepreneur gets Intel funding.
